Brisbane Water

Brisbane Water Enviro Alliance (BWEA) was a successful five year program of works. The project included the upgrade of four WWTP’s at Sandgate, Oxley, Wacol and Wynnum. In addition, a new recycled water treatment plant in Wynnum MFRO was built. The project had a total value of $210M.

John Holland engaged Tallai Project Group as a partner. In short, TPG provided alliance management, project management, commissioning management, design coordination and TOC management.

Brisbane Water, John Holland, Aquatec Maxcon, JWP and MWH formed a partnership to deliver the Brisbane Water Enviro Alliance program of works.

The primary features of the upgrade work included inlets works, BNR, Tertiary Settling Tanks, UV, Odour Control, Sludge Treatment, Microfiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Degasification and storage lagoons.
