City of Gold Coast Strategic Partnership for Professional Services

City of Gold Coast Professional Services Partnership has led to a Joint Venture of Stantec and WSP in the delivery of engineering consulting services to the Water and Waste Division.

Water and Waste is facing a number of challenges over the next few years with population growth and densification. To meet this challenge, they have procured the Stantec/WSP JV to bolster its capacity and expertise via a partnering arrangement to ensure exceptional outcomes for the wider Gold Coast Community from the early planning stage right the way through to project delivery.

The program of works includes numerous projects and renewals works involving both wastewater and recycled water treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines and reservoirs.

Gold Coast Water and Waste directed Stantec and WSP to engage Tallai Project Group with the responsibility to provide:

  • Contractors project management advice
  • Constructability inputs including construction methodologies and staging plans,
  • Project scheduling
  • Project and construction risk assessment
  • Cost estimation (Principal Contractors Estimate).
  • Constructability reviews
  • Independent estimate reviews
  • Project schedule reviews
