Whitsunday Regional Council

The Whitsunday Regional Council project included the construction of two new water treatment plants. Specifically,  one for Proserpine and one for Bowen. The project yielded a total value of $50

Abigroup engaged Tallai Project Group to manage the bid and negotiations with the council. And, furthermore to preselect bid partners and to manage the project, including construction and commissioning across both plants.

The Whitsunday Council and Abigroup delivered the projects as a construct only fixed-price contract with design elements.

The primary features of both plants include reactivator clarifiers, Dual Media Filters, Treated Water Storage, Chemical Dosing, Fluoridation, Sludge Thickening, Sludge Drying Beds, Main Switchroom Building, Control and Admin Building.
